And still too romantic. It’s just too pretty. And I am in class, Global Studies to be exact so what better time to write my squee heart into a frenzy. I have internet and shall use it to my full advantage.

I truly admire people who manage to phrase everything elequantly without editing. It truly is spectacular that poetry comes so naturally to them. And it makes me feel pathetic and insignificant. And once again, this song is not helping. It is beautiful and moody and soothing with a way of ruffling your heart strings so they seem to be singing along.

People are too noisy, and gritty voices don’t harmonize with this song. I would wish for noise canceling head phones but I’d rather have no reason to cancel noise. And this song is just so sweet and dreamy and they are not, it clashes painfully and ack. See at a loss for words.

So I just bought Turn To Stone by Ingrid Michaelson and I am hoooked. I have loved her music forever and some of her songs have shaped me and this one is another, you want to cry and smile and dance all at the same time. And mostly it makes me want to write, and play the piano and my head gets filled with romantic hopes and day dreams. And I realized I want to fall in love with a blind man, metaphorically mostly. But I dunno blind to me, those are generally the people I love. It’s sad.

So yes, dwell, desire and go and listen.

If I ever have children (I dont really want to…) I am going to name them Genevive, Chrisanthamum, and George. So you may have noticed earlier that there was a different layout up. I may or may not use that one. I am still working on it and there is another half of the image plus I don’t have a comment page for it yet.

I am really addicted to music that kind of sounds like a music box. Mostly Joanna Newsome and Lenka.

Also, I am working on my room today. I really want it to feel like a fairytale room. I have a bunch of ideas for it but first I need to get the crap off the floor and vacume. I do have some pretty fabric and lace I could make into curtians if I felt like it. I might. Kind of ruffly and then more ruffly. Plus I want to paint my walls a nice yellow color or pale blue. The only problem with pale blue is thats the color the sky is all winter and it’s really depressing, I could use some bright sunshiny colors right now.

So yes I have a new camera It’s a olympus e-410 and it’s my baby, I named him Oly. I know, how original but I like it and I love him. He is perrfect. I know the 510 has image stabilization and all that shit for about the same price but dude, I have tiny tiny hands. I simply can not hold that camera! Plus this one is set up just like the love of my life my Olympus OM-1n. Yeah I am turning into an olympus freak, but with their lenses how can you not? I know they don’t have quite the same range of accesories as Nikon and Cannon but honestly, how many of those would you even consider buying? So yeah I am up to 3 olympuses.

So today I was hunting down my charging cord and found my poor old film camera (Malcolm) burried under a dress on my desk so I took him downstairs for some love, started playing around and realized the mirror was dusty. I was mad. I kept looking through the view finder utterly confused at how I could have these random flecks and then I remembered. Dude. Dust. This camera is what, 30 years old? It’s gonna get dusty. So at first I blamed the lens and wiped that down thoroughly. Not the lens. Then the view finder. Nope. Not the viewfinder. Then the little lightbulb went on and said, hey dude. Mirror. Duh. So I screwd off the lens and tada. The mirror was covered with dust. Grr… So I got out my cleaning kit with the dandy little puff brush and puffed and brushed until I was satisfied but then WTF? MAGIC BLACK GOO HAD APPEARD FROM NOWHERE AND IT WAS SMEARD ALL OVER MY MIRROR. Shit. Fuck. A duck. With whipped cream and a boa. Not goood… So I got out the cue tips and glasses cleaner that came in the kit and whipped. *few* it’s gone. But the drama was not over ooohh no. I went back to brushing and there it was again. *dramatic sigh* and *whipe again* Oh So finally I get the brilliant idea of checking where this wonky black goo was coming from. It looked like little bits of black oil pastel. Looked at le puff brush and there it is some chunk of nasty ass black goo and my puff brush. Grr.. Finally without too much hair pulling I got all the black goo off the mirror and all the dust too. Wiped off the brush and went back to the tv. Drama drama drama.

So yeah, that was sooo not fun. And I think I have contracted cumpulsive camera buying sindrome. I am addicted. But I don’t want rehab, it’s too much fun Now I found out my grandparents have a lovely (and hopefully functional) antique TLR in their basement. I must have it. I simply must. And since it probably takes 620 or 120 film I might just have to develope it myself *sqqueee* I miss the dark room. And I want a holga too. Another delightfully cheap excuse for a darm room.

So now an odd list of things I like and dislike that most people wouldn’t agree with.

Likes:

• Raw pork and beef.
• The smell of developer.
• Breaking clocks
• Harp music

• The smell of old paper/antique stores
• Loud fireworks
• And I have a crush on Tintin and Hannibal Lector.

Dislikes:

• Chicken (I have officially gotten sick of it. *gags*)
• Most all candy
• Pepsi
• Pink Sugar Perfume (My friend bought a bottle and I nearly throw up around her it smells soo sweet!!)
• Uggs
• The color beige/tan
• Soccer
• 90% of dogs under 15 lbs.

So I just got a new camera, a dslr olympus, I still need to name him/her (haven’t decided that either yet so I am trying not to ask for anything from my mom but my list of clothing cravings is growing so here it is!

Shoes:

• Brown penny loafers
• Red pumps
• Lacy up high heel ankle boots (and non hooker shoe-esque)
• Flat laced up guy shoes grr hard to explain…
• Black and white striped flats
• Cowboy boots

Tops:

• Gauzy black oversized t-shirt
• A plain button-up shirt white, sheer
• A plain button up shirt any color long (dress, above knees) with a tie of matching material.
• Grey t-shirt
• Something with an interesting shape
• Big navy oversized sweat shirt.

Bottoms:

• Pencil Skirt black cotton jersey (make myself) and grey wool
• Floral and black cotton skirt with a yoke (make myself)
• 2 pairs leggings, sheer black and maroon.
• Grey and dark wash jeans

I know that sounds like a ton but I haven’t gotton any clothes since November or October… Gah! Going craaazy! Hehe, I mostly just needed a place to put this list down but I also thought you might find it enteresting…

So I tried to work on the last layout and I did love it but I just got sick of it after hours of staring at it and I just wanted something simpler… So in the mean time (while I am procrastinating…) I thought I’d give you guys a little random quizimigig/peak into my crazy overworked hampster of a brain because I’m bored and sleepy and procrastinating!

Favorite Word? Conspiracy, it’s just yummy and fun to squeal at random people hehe.

If you could have any material in the world right now, what would it be? A new camera, basically I have my mom’s out of date point and shoot thingy and an old and well loved SLR (also my moms) but it needs film and I hate hate hate how fred meyer’s does my film, it looks like shit but I dont have the time to do it myself, plus I can’t get any black and white film grr… My school needs to get a blackroom already. Mmkay back to the question, so a dSLR camera, a really yummy grey leather coat or a new desk because mine is really ugly and it’s irking me. OH! Or a pretty skirt, I’m not sure what kind and I’ll probably make one myself but I just want a new skirt right now… OH! Or a pair of red heart shaped sun glasses. Or some top romen hehe.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? The Oregon Coast. I hate sunny beaches, well I hate sun in general so in a quite antique store at the beach reading and breathing in the yummy musty air. I just love the air there, it smells like dust and sea water and rain and pine trees, it’s intoxicating. Or in NYC I know I’m going this spring but I cant wait!! My shopping senses are tingling!

If you could have any book in the world, what book would it be? Lolita, I feel emberrased to go buy a copy and I dont think my oldsters have a copy and I really want to read it.. Or The Year My Life Went Down the Loo chick lit trash that I adore. The good kind of chick lit trash not the kind that makes you want to go loose 20 lbs and spend 100 bucks.

Favorite movie at this moment? Bridget Jones’s Diarie. I cannot express how much I love that movie! It’s just sooo sweet and adorable and halerious and unlike most modern chick flicks you feel good about yourself and bubbly after watching it. OH or Lolita, I am watching it online and I have already almost cried twice, WHY DONT PEOPLE MAKE MOVIES LIKE THAT ANYMORE?

Favorite color right now? Light blue-ish grey. It’s a really hard color to describe but I am determind to paint my walls that color this summer. I have been infatuated with it for years and I really want my walls to be that color!

Favorite music of the moment? I am in love with Rachael Yamagata’s new album. I really cant pick a specific song from it. The whole thing just flows together and to get the whole experiance I would really really recogmend you get all of it but if I had to pick 4 songs, Duet, Faster, Sunday Afternoon, and Elephants.

And if you could have anything in the world right now, what would it be? An amazing sweep you off your feet romance.

Uggghh *hack cough* I am sick. I have three empty tissue boxes and another new one surrounding my bed. See! I have an excuse for my lack of layout! Haha, yep Hopefully that should be up soon if I ever get off my lazy butt and stop drinking Izzie’s and watching Numb3rs *sigh* mmkay wurble you all!

Ok the layout is getting there! The image is 90% done (I saved something as a psd when it should be a png and after that I’m done) and the coding is like 40% done so it’s getting there Plus I am working on some new content so I think that should all be up by monday.

Mmkay all you need to know (for nnow) is we are revamping! I completely re-installed wp and deleted ALL my old files, hell I even got a new SQL account xD so Abelinda should be really truly back some time around January 4th. I’ve just been really missing having a blog to post all my ramblings so good to drop by and say hi.
