• Someone runs this site?

Yes they do! And it has a name. In fact, it's not even an it, its a she! Ok. I'll give you a moment to process that information.

Ok, so it's, excuse me, her name is Athena, she is a freshman putting her around 14 years of age. What, you want to know even more about her, what are you, a stalker? *shesh* fine.

She likes books, a lot. I mean she's gotta have 100s of the things stacked around her room, her bookshelf has long since been filled so the floor has taken over as their place of residence.

Music is another of her interests, her voice could make your ears bleed but she can play the piano decently and greatly enjoys it. Her music collection is even more extensive than her books. In this new fangled world of technology we have these days she has very few actually CDs but via itunes her collection is quite extensive. Mostly centering around who knows what, how many times do you find Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, and The Killers in one itunes library? Let along Adele, Duffy, and Wolfmother. Yes, eclectic at the least.

Some other loves of hers are sewing (she has a love hate relationship with a sewing machine from the 70s) sketching and Matthew Gray Gubler.

Ok, this is getting a wee bit on the long side.. But hell, it's her site, why should she stop there huh? HUH? Ok so wanna know more about this maverick of a girl? Click the pretty little about link to your left and read your little heart out.

Abelinda.net is proudly hosted by 1&1

Abelinda started out as a free webs in early May and got it's own domain in June 10, 2007 though I started working on it that January.

Oh, so you want more than a few mega cool links and a few dates. In a nutshell, you cant fit a good description of this site in a nutshell.

Most of what's on here are the blog and ramblings of a dorky teenager, plus a few tutorials, a bit of fanfic, and some completely useless tutorials. So, enjoy!

    Kidnap!

Filed under Other - Word Count: 420

Listening to: From My Heart To Yours - Laura Izibor

So my laptop was kidnapped by my parents there for no updates :( I am thinking about making a few wordpress themes that you could download. I enjoyed coding the CSS for this one so much I really want to try again.

I found a few more songs (as usual) to get and so here they are:

The General Specific - Band of Horses
The Funeral - Band of Horses
Live and Learn - The Cardigans
To Build a Home - The Cinematic Orchestra
    Let Go - Ingrid Michaelson
    Finally Woken - Jem
    Maybe I’m Amazed - Jem
    Your Song - Kate Walsh
    French Song - Kate Walsh
    Tonight - Kate Walsh
    Fireworks - Kate Walsh
From My Heart To Yours - Laura Izibor
    Soulmate - Natasha Bedingfield
    Infinity - Merrick
    Dream - Priscilla Ahn
    I Don’t Think So - Priscilla Ahn
    Rain - Priscilla Ahn
    New Slang - The Shins
    Phantom Limb - The Shins
    Little Black Sandals - Sia
    Day Too Soon - Sia
The Girl You Lost to Cocaine - Sia
    Lazy Eye - Silverson Pickups

I think I got a pretty good assortment in there :D I would recommend Sia’s new album Some People Have Real Problems to anyone. It’s really amazing and her lyrics are really powerful and honest. Also Natasha Bedingfeild’s album Pocketful of Sunshine is wonderful. Its a lot less disney pop than her last album. I am totally in love with Kate Walsh. Her music is so soothing and peaceful.

So I am extremely addicted to Lost. It’s sooo good!!! I just finished the first season and started the first episode of the second season. I hope I can finish the next two before ABC takes them off their web site! Lost can be kind of creepy sometimes but it’s just like a good mystery novel, it’s worth the creepy moments for the great plot.

I just finished Sweet 16 by Kate Brian. I know what you’re thinking, just another shallow chick-flick but it’s really really good. The book has a really great message. I don’t want to give too much away but it’s about a extremely spoiled girl who learns there is more to life than having that new Gucci purse..

Uhmm.. If I would rate my life right now it would be a 5.5/10 I think. School has been pretty blah lately. My geometry teacher refuses to give me my makeup work and I have a lot of stuff to do for science.

Well TTFN & XOXO I will try to do at least some updating before I go to sleep.
