Listening to: Merry Happy - Kate Nash

So guess what peoples. I GOT A PRINTER! I know it’s that cool.. Actually it is. I’ve usually print using the PC’s printer (We have a ‘family’ PC aka. Evil Box of Doom!) I try not to use it unless I have to print and it’s too old to set up a network with.. Well the Evil Box of Doom got a virus and crashed so now not only is my dad kidnapping my laptop for half the day but I can’t print anything.. I have been wanting my own printer for a while because it takes forever to print on the PC because I have to turn on the PC log in get to my email download the attachment while my dad’s anti-virus software (so much for that..) scans it open Word and print it. Yeah it takes about 15 minutes and I end up late to school because of it.. Also if it’s late at night and I’m working upstairs there’s no way I am going back downstairs to print a stupid document.

Anyways.. I got a HP Photosmart C4280. It has a scanner so I can scan in more of my drawings for you guys and make brushes!! I still have to set it up but before then I have to clean up my room so I don’t have to set it up on my bed because you can’t stand on the floor.. I have a shelve under my desk I can put it where it wont take up much room which is good.. I am really excited because we are doing this project at school that requires stuff like printing.. It’s a really fun project I just couldn’t finish it before because I couldn’t print anything.

I am totally in love with this layout! It’s just what I wanted. I am also super proud of the CSS. It’s a lot more sophisticated that what I normally do and I tried to do something that’s a little more professional. I am just so happy to finally make a layout I really like. The last one was ok I just wasn’t head over heals in love with it like I normally am. This one I can’t stop staring at! lol.. So tell me what you think and seriously I would rather hear constructive criticism than ‘Ooh. Cute layout.’

I have a 37+ long list of songs I have to buy! It’s crazy.. It just keeps pilling up. I wish I hadn’t already spent all of my itunes gift cards!

I know this is a rather short blog so I will try to add more later.

Gosh, your layout is so lovely now.
I love the image you used, and the trees. It’s a bit simplistic, but it’s nice. I think the CSS is such a nice touch to it too. You’ve done really awesome on it.

But, haha, congratulations on your new printer. I don’t have one, but mostly because mines a laptop. Gay. Whatever, I can’t print anything, but I can always use my dads.

Omg, a scanner too? I’m so jealous. My dad’s scanner is just an ugly fax machine. And the scans come out discolored and horrible. I envy you now

Dear Athena,

Your layout is beautiful. The only thing that bothers me is this box in which I am writing my comments in. It;s a tad bit to the right and I feel as if I have OCD. I just want to put my hand through the computer and move it over a bit. Now for the layout. It’s good. Detailed. Professional. You might want the background to match the exact colour of the tree. It just looks like a black for the tree and then a colour-step up from black as the background. That;s really all.

thanks for telling em about the problme with my background. I think it’s because my site isn’t compatible with much else besides internet explorer. Isn’t there a way to code your layout so that way it’s compatible with other stuff. I don’t know… If there is and you know where i can learn about it please tell me.

The new layout is seriously amazing. The kind of shadow effect is really neat! Your CSS is amazing.

Your lucky you got a printer. I still have to use the family printers which are basically crap. They are as old as time itself and my dad keeps saying, “Yeah, we’ll get a new one today.” Does he get one? No. Good luck with all of that. I can’t wait for the new brushes.

I never knew there was such a thing as a “fun” school project. That’s an interesting one.

My songs to buy list are also building up. I just put in an order at Amazon. Nothing is going to ship until the fourth though which completely stinks. I hope you get everything you want!
